From Scrap AŞ, 81 trees, 81 provinces.

As Scrap AŞ, to fulfil our responsibility, we had 81 trees planted for our 81 provinces through OGEM-VAK. Since 2007, through the waste disposal and recycling work we have carried out, we have also brought more than a thousand trees to the soil on behalf of our clients.

Today, in order to produce more and grow in industry, we release carbon dioxide and methane into nature without control, accelerating global warming. Each of us also harms the atmosphere individually with what we do at home, in the car and at work.

So what can we do individually, and what can we do to at least offset the harm we ourselves cause? The answer is actually quite simple: the process of global warming has begun and reversing it is difficult, but we can at least slow its progress by planting trees.

Since last year, with the seed pencils we give our clients as gifts, we have also helped more than a thousand saplings grow.

Through the work we do both on our own behalf and on behalf of our clients, we try to fulfil our responsibility toward the environment, and we will keep doing so. We also support children’s nature education through our donations to TEMA Foundation.
