In short: Scrap Danışmanlık took part as a sponsor in the 9th International Cosmetics Congress, which the Cosmetics Manufacturers and Researchers Association (KÜAD) held in Antalya on 15–17 December 2025. The congress theme was “Holistic Cosmetics”. We brought the sector and our sustainability responsibility to the same table: we joined the congress with our “A Breath for the Future, A Tree in Your Name” concept, in which a sapling is planted on behalf of participants.

What happened at the congress?

The congress ran for three days at Titanic Deluxe Belek in Antalya and brought together more than 900 participants. The programme covered topics such as phytotherapy, epigenetics, green chemistry and artificial intelligence applications. Sponsor stands were also set up in the congress area.

What was at our stand?

As a sponsor, we had a stand in the congress area. An olive tree in a Scrap-branded planter stood next to it, and the banner beside it carried the message “Dünya Bizim İş Ortağımız” (“The World Is Our Partner”). The stand gave us a good place to meet industry representatives in person.

What is A Breath for the Future, A Tree in Your Name?

We run this social responsibility project in cooperation with the General Directorate of Forestry. After a disposal or recycling process is completed, we donate a sapling on behalf of our customer. At the Cosmetics Congress, we brought the same idea to participants and had a sapling planted on behalf of the people who attended. You can read the details on our A Breath for the Future, A Tree in Your Name page.

Why does it matter for the cosmetics sector?

For cosmetics manufacturers, disposal is not only a waste issue. Expired or damaged products must not find their way back to the market uncontrolled. So taking part in a congress where the sector meets was a natural step for us. We explain how we manage the process on our cosmetics disposal page. If you have questions after the congress, you can use our request form.
