In short: Scrap Danışmanlık attended the first Medical Device Governance Summit, which the Medical Device Sector Platform held on 20–22 May 2025 at the Belek Spice Hotel in Antalya. The summit was titled “Strategy and Innovative Solutions in Supply”. The event brought the medical device ecosystem’s key stakeholders together around supply management and innovative solutions.
Who organised the summit?
The Medical Device Sector Platform organised the summit. The event took place with the approval of the Ministries of Treasury and Finance, Health, Labour and Social Security, Industry and Technology, and Trade. The meeting lasted three days.
What was discussed at the summit?
The summit covered many topics, from supply to payment, from quality to efficiency, and from pricing to regulation and public-private cooperation. A workshop titled “Inventory Management, Supply, Pricing and Payment in Medical Devices” was also an important part of the programme. Many medical device companies opened stands to present their products.
Why did we attend?
For medical device manufacturers and suppliers, the process does not end when a product is sold. Disposing of expired, damaged or recalled devices safely and on record is part of that process too. That is why we took part in a summit where the sector meets. We also shared our proposals on disposal processes a few weeks earlier at Expomed Eurasia 2025.
