A Breath for the Future: Sapling Plaques at the Summit

With our social responsibility project “A Breath for the Future, a Tree in Your Name”, launched at the Medical Device Governance Summit 2.0, we donated saplings in the name of people who add value to our sector and presented their plaques. This short video shows the presentations at our stand at the summit in Antalya.

Who received the plaques?

The saplings were donated on behalf of institutions, civil society organisations and sector representatives that contribute to the development of the health sector. Each plaque stands for a sapling planted in the name of that person or institution. In this way, a contribution to the sector becomes a living memory in nature.

Why saplings?

At Scrap we do not see sustainability as limited to destruction and recycling processes; we believe every positive impact left for the future is a responsibility. The olive trees and saplings at our stand throughout the summit were a concrete expression of this view. Over the summit, we gave a total of 1,300 saplings to the future.
