Scrap at the Medical Device Governance Summit 2.0

The Medical Device Governance Summit 2.0 took place on 10–13 May 2026 at Granada Luxury Belek in Antalya. It brought together the public sector, industry, civil society and representatives of the health technology and medical device sector. What was discussed at the summit?

Expert speakers covered sector developments, sustainable growth, regulatory processes, governance, domestic production, technology and the future of the health ecosystem. Bringing the sector’s stakeholders together on one platform created real value for sharing knowledge and building a common vision.

A Breath for the Future, a Tree in Your Name

We supported our participation with our social responsibility project “A Breath for the Future, a Tree in Your Name”. We donated saplings on behalf of public institutions, sector representatives, civil society organisations and participants, and presented plaques to people who contribute to the sector, marking the donations made in their name. Our aim was to show that environmental responsibility is a value that is put into practice, not just discussed.

Uğur Mumay: “Filling an important gap”

In the video, İSEK board member Uğur Mumay says that through its work in the pharmaceutical and medical device sector Scrap Danışmanlık fills an important gap, and that it never leaves civil society organisations on their own. In his view, backing its presence at the summit with a social responsibility project made Scrap’s participation far more meaningful.
